Donnie Hammond

The McDavid Group is proud to welcome PGA Professional Golfer Donnie Hammond will join us in support of families of fallen police officers through Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). We are excited to have Donnie participating and playing in our “Golf for C.O.P.S.” charity outing.

Hammond turned pro in 1979 and won the PGA Tour qualifying tournament by a record 14 strokes. Over the course of Hammond’s career are two PGA Tour victories, three-time winner of the Jerry Ford Invitational, winner of the 1986 Bob Hope Desert Classic, and the 1989 Texas Open where he won by seven strokes. After his PGA Tour career ended in 1998, he competed on what was then the Tour, where he won in 2000. Hammond is also a charter member of the Jacksonville University Sports Hall of Fame.
